I like to start my day with breakfast at Maira’s Kitchen. They open early, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed breakfast before heading out.

After breakfast, I pack my beach bag and drive to Playa Daaibooi (one of Curaçao’s most beautiful beaches), which is only about 20 minutes from Kura Botanica. It is a smaller, peaceful beach with beautiful clear water. What I love most is the snorkelling. There are many fish, and if you arrive early, you might even spot turtles before it gets busy.

It is one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy the quiet side of Curaçao.

After a few hours, I continue to Playa Porto Marie, just a few minutes away. The water is crystal clear, the beach feels like a tropical paradise, and I love spending a few hours relaxing there.

A fun detail about Porto Marie is the pigs that often walk around and relax close to the beach. I usually stay for lunch at the beach club, enjoying good food with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea.

Later in the afternoon, I move to Cas Abao Beach to enjoy the golden hour. For me, this is one of the most beautiful beaches in Curaçao. The white sand, turquoise water and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect place to end a beach day.

I love taking photos here and simply enjoying the view. One of the reasons I love this route is that Daaibooi, Porto Marie and Cas Abao are all close together, so you can experience three amazing beaches without spending hours in the car.

After a full day at the beach, I head back to Kura Botanica for a quick shower before dinner at my favourite restaurant on the island: Mosa/Caña. I love their shared dining concept because you can try many different dishes.

The food is amazing, the cocktails are spectacular, and the atmosphere is always lively but relaxed. For me, it is the perfect ending to a perfect Curaçao day.
